Please examine this policy meticulously before securing a booking. By reserving a charter with SteadyInformationHub, you are giving your consent to these terms of refund.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund except for processing charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card operations
Conditions: Must be formally requested via electronic mail or telephone communication
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter service
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund amount
Conditions: Valid justification needed; administrative expenses apply
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided
Exception: Emergency scenarios will be taken into account
Alternative: Credit for future charters may be offered at the discretion of management
Conditions: Documentation will be necessary for emergency related claims
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Our primary consideration is safety. In the event that our certified captain deems weather conditions as unsafe for sailing, we offer adaptable solutions:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn’t a possibility, a full refund will be provided
- Reschedule: Charter can be rebooked for the next available slot without additional charges
- Charter Credit: A credit that’s valid for 12 months from the date of the original charter
Weather Assessment Process
Weather assessments are carried out by considering:
- Analysis of wind speed and direction
- Evaluation of wave height and sea state
- Forecasts of visibility and precipitation
- Advisories and warnings from the Coast Guard
- A safety judgment from a professional captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding cancellation due to weather are made at least 4 hours prior to the planned departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We recognize that unforeseen medical emergencies can arise. The following situations may be grounds for special consideration:
- Abrupt illness or injury necessitating hospital care
- Death within the immediate family
- Military conscription or urgent recall
- Summons for jury duty or a court order
- Natural calamities impacting travel
Documentation Requirements
For processing requests for emergency refunds, the following documents are required:
- Medical attestation or hospital documents
- Death certificate, if relevant
- Government military directives
- Notification of court summons or jury duty
- Travel warnings or declarations of emergency
Processing: Refunds for emergencies are expedited within 3-5 working days upon submission of appropriate documentation.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
In the event of mechanical faults in the assigned vessel that we cannot rectify:
- Alternative Vessel: We’ll try to arrange a comparable substitute
- Full Refund: If no appropriate alternative is found
- Partial Refund: If the substitute vessel has a different price point
- Compensation: Additional reparation may be considered for the trouble caused
Crew Unavailability
If certified crew members are unexpectedly unavailable:
- Substitute crew will be arranged when feasible
- Complete refund if the charter cannot proceed
- Rescheduling at no extra charge
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds are credited back to the original method of payment:
- Credit Cards: Reflected within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Processed over 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Completed within 3-5 business days

Credit Card Processing
A fee of €50 for cancellations with more than 72 hours' notice
Bank Transfer Processing
A charge of €25 for all reimbursements via bank transfer
International Processing
Additional surcharges may apply for cross-border transactions
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
In particular situations, charter credits may be provided as an alternative to returning funds:
- Last-minute annulments (within 24 hours of departure)
- Cancellations due to weather
- Voluntary requests to reschedule
- Disruptions in service
Credit Terms
- Validity: Credits are valid for one year from the date of issue
- Transferability: Credits are non-transferable to others
- Value: They reflect the total value of the charter without deductions for fees
- Usage: Credits may be used for any future charter subject to availability
- Expiration: Extensions are not allowed beyond the 12-month period
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
If the charter experience is shortened or interrupted due to factors we manage:
- A refund that's proportional to the unutilized period
- A credit for a subsequent charter equal in value
- Gratuitous services or upgrades where applicable
